Verb Modals of Obligation 

  1. We have a lot of work tomorrow. You must not be late.
  2. They don't have to get up early today, because it's Sunday.
  3. I must not eat too much cake or I'll get fat!.
  4. You don't have to tidy up now. I'll do it later
  5. In a non-smoking area you mustn’t smoke, but in a smoking area you don’t have to smoke but you can if you want to.

  1. I think he should get a hair cut, his hair is constantly falling on his eyes
  2. I think you should open the windows it´s hot in here
  3. You'd better make sure you have all the facts before accusing or threatening people
  4. You ought not to think that you can bully your clients and get away with it.
